You've heard about it. You've sensed it. Now you feel it in your bones.

The rise of Matriarchy... and with it, the crumbling of Patriarchy.

No doubt, we're still living in a patriarchal society... still conditioned and held hostage by systems that oppress rather than liberate or protect. BUT the tides are turning. The shift is underway. And there is hope on the horizon.

A Matriarchy emphasizes communal wellbeing over personal gain. It cares about children, the environment, and the future. Women lead, but unlike the power-hungry, capitalist, and greedy "culture" that has arisen from patriarchal rule, they emphasize focus on the greater good... they prioritize community. Wealth and abundance are evident in the health of the people, animals, and insects that live on the land and in the land itself.

While we cannot snap our fingers and wake up to a magical world transformed by Matriarchy, we can listen to the call. We can bolster ourselves with the inspiration and strength that can be found in Circle. We can tune into the whispers in our own souls and those who are being called towards this reclamation as well. We can make small personal shifts, share them with one another, and watch the ripple effect.

You're invited (though not required!) to bring something to the altar that represents the gifts that reside in matriarchal energy (or anything that feels sacred to you-- doesn't have to relate to our theme).

This nurturing circle will include quiet reflective time with journaling prompts & oracle cards, facilitated prompts & invitations for group sharing, & a restorative meditation & sound bath.

How good would it feel to take time to notice? How sweet could it be if we honored the "small" moments in our days? How might we see ourselves and each other if we broadened our definition of milestones and rites of passage?

In our modern world, we're conditioned to move through life at a warped speed. A capitalist, patriarchal society is structured so that its people conform, keep their heads down, and do their part to enable to system to hum along.

Step outside of the numbing cycle of production and consumption and notice your life. Look at your relationships, your desires, your memories, your hopes, your goals, and your accomplishments. Look at them and mark them.

What you do matters. What you want matters. What you're moving through matters. Let's slow down together and notice what's ending and what's beginning in our lives. Let's honor our personal and collective shifts with reverence and presence.

Reflect, rest, and give yourself the gift of deeper connection to self, sisterhood, and Source.

This evening will include self inquiry work & invitations for group discussion, guided meditation, & a Reiki-infused sound bath.

In modern times, it is easy to forget about the sacred.

We move at a clip that asks us to strive towards the future... to work towards it and to idolize it.

But what about the present moment? And what about the past? What about those anchors... those collections of people, places, and things that keep us rooted and whole?

This Circle & Workshop (& shopping/gathering experience!) invites you to slow down & remember.

Remember to find presence.

Remember to find breath.

Remember to find beauty.

Remember to come home to yourself.

Women have been creating altars & hearth spaces for centuries. They've done it to honor important people, different seasons, & various milestones. They've done it to offer themselves a quiet place to land.

That collection of special objects on her dresser. That framed photo and candle on the mantle. These are hearth spaces. Items that invite spiritual connection & grounding. A small, sacred space in the home where you can come back to yourself.

Gather in Circle to remember the sacred.

We'll learn more abut the history of sacred hearth spaces and altars in the lives of women and how they connect to the seasons & cycles of nature and our lives.

This nurturing & inspiring event will include quiet reflective time with journaling prompts & oracle cards, facilitated prompts & invitations for group sharing, & the opportunity for complementary shopping from an array of specially sourced vintage pieces from August Vintage to create your own sacred hearth space to take home.
