Energizing Yoga for All Levels, with Ana Burnett

  • Time is reflected in EST Zoom (map)

What’s Happening:

Chat with other mamas before “class” and then settle in for a 30 minute energizing yoga class, all levels welcome. After class, you’ll have an opportunity to ask Ana questions about form, modifications, ways to incorporate yoga into your daily life, etc!

While this isn’t specifically a Mommy & Me class, as always, babies are welcome! Time just for you is so wonderful, but it’s not always possible, and it’s more important to make time to take care of your body and connect with other women, so show up to this digital event with your tots in hand if that’s what it takes!

No equipment necessary.

Mama Matches:

Prior to the programming we will kick off the event with 1:1 casual mom talks. You’ll spend 15 minutes in a private virtual room with another mom who’s attending the event and get to know each other a little bit! It’s an incredible way to connect with other moms from around the world and find the common threads that unite us all!

Ana Burnett’s Bio

From Ana:

I am so excited to be joining LSOM and bringing my love and knowledge of yoga to all the mamas!

I have been practicing yoga for about 16 years and I still remember how I felt after that first class. That calm, open and peaceful energy that we all need and sometimes struggle to find. Yoga means to “yoke” or make as One with the Divine within. A remembering of our true selves. The amazing thing about yoga is it is a practice within and there is no need for fancy clothes or specific materials. All you need is space for yourself to move and breathe, and an open heart. Yoga is not destination, but a “journey of the self, to the self” - Bhagavad Gita

I became a certified yoga teacher back in the summer of 2018 and after that began teaching for Denver Parks & Rec. I love teaching to people who normally wouldn’t step into a yoga studio & showing them how yoga is for everyBODY.

It is my pleasure to speak with you all and lead you in some breath-work and moving meditation that is all achievable at home. Hopefully you will learn a few new things, and maybe spark some internal fire!

I look forward to meeting you all and bringing a little bit of connection and presence to your daily routine - namaste.
